National Productivity Week 2017: Joint celebration by NPC and CEE


The theme of ‘National Productivity Week- 2017' was ‘From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse'. Twenty students from Saint Kabir School and H. B. Kapadia School in Ahmedabad actively participated in the different activities of the programme. The programme made the students aware about the concept of waste utilisation in different manner with best technology for prevention and control of environmental pollution. The programme aimed to serve as a preliminary step for the students to increase their knowledge and build up their confidence level for such kind of national and international events.

Ms. Priya Nair gave a brief introduction of CEE and the purpose of conducting this programme. Dr. Natarajan Pratap, Deputy Director, NPC Gandhinagar explained the students about the fundamentals of environment and the procedure of the programme.

All the students actively participated in the both the events of essay writing and quiz on the theme. After successful completion of both the events, the prizes were distributed to the best three participants for both the event by Mr. J K Vyas, Dr. Natarajan Pratap, Ms. Priya nair and Mr. Nandan kumar. Participatory certificates were given to each student to encourage them for these kinds of events.
