CEE's interpretation programmes seek to convert the visits of people to natural and cultural heritage sites into an educational opportunity. They enhance the nature experience by providing on-site information through signages and exhibits, create a strong impact and go a long way towards increasing public commitment to the cause of conservation. Increasingly, interpretation is also emerging as a vital tool that helps to impress on visitors the critical link between environment and sustainable development.
CEE possesses expertise in the areas of design, fabrication, installation, management, technology and other technical skills for the complex task of interpretation. Background research on, and development of content for, materials and fabrication techniques suitable for different environmental circumstances are carried out as a part of CEE's interpretive programme. CEE has successfully completed major interpretation programmes at the Gir and Bandhavgarh National Parks , National Zoological Park ( Delhi ), and Sabarmati Ashram (Ahmedabad), among others.
CEE offers interpretation programmes for Zoos, Protected Areas and Cultural Heritage Sites. |
