Salary scale: Rs.29,000 - 900 – 30,800 (Initially for three years*)

Starting salary: 29,000 consolidated gross salary per month plus

annual performance allowance which is up to 12 % of the consolidated salary.

*This post is extendable after three years with a scale of Rs. 29,000 – 900 – 41,600.

Job Description of Executive Assistant to Director

To provide administrative support to Director and Programme Directors and to ensure that all Secretarial/Administrative/Support requirements are met.  

The routine administrative functions would include:

•  General Office management related tasks

•  Maintaining file and records

•  Daily correspondences, taking dictation and typing the same

•  Handling appointment, visitors and meetings of the Director

•  Handling day to day internal and external communication

•  Looking after travel related arrangements

•  Maintaining database of key contacts, agencies etc.

•  Logistics coordination in event, workshops and activities

•  Act as the ‘connect' between the programme team and the administrative/accounts teams

•  Handling any other matter that arises in the area of administrative and management of a group/team or and administrative division

Essential qualifications, experience, competencies:

Qualifications & Experience:

•  Graduate with 5 years' relevant experience and proficiency in short hand and typewriting.

•  Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals and groups

•  Commitment & enthusiasm for, service and timely completion of jobs

•  Possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work
