Guru Govind Singh Park Interpretation, Bhopal

Guru Gobind Singh Park, popularly known as Ekant Park, lies in the heart of Bhopal City. Partly natural forest and partly plantation of indigenous and ornamental plants, it supports remarkable biodiversity inside a city.

An interpretation programme with an initial phase of signage development along with a bilingual brochure and activity book has been taken up with financial support from Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board. Eighteen roadside signs with pictures and information of important trees and birds, Ekant’s biodiversity, health value and unique eco-remediation functions have been installed in the park.
