Kodagu Heritage Interpretation Centre’s objective is to help any visitor or resident of kodagu to understand & interpret the unique landscape, the rich cultural & biological diversity, and the economic activities and consequently the tourism potential of kodagu.
WaRM South along with the Kodagu Interpretation Centre at Madikeri, Coorg, conducted a month- long Eco-guides training programme for nearly 15 young persons from Coorg, who had a minimum qualification of high school pass certificate and were engaged in Tourism in Kodagu as tour guides or tour operators to fine-tune eco-tourism opportunities.
