Supervision of implementation of Environment Management Framework (EMF) in Rajasthan District Poverty Initiatives Project (RDPIP):
The consultants met with representatives of the State Project Management Unit (SPMU), Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) which is the Environment Agency, reviewed available documents, desk reviewed subproject proposals and visited 18 sample sub-projects in Dausa, Tonk and Churu districts to review field outcomes. Meetings were held in the districts with the District Project Management Unit (DPMU), NGOs, Project Facilitating Teams (PFTs) and beneficiary communities. The observations and recommendations of the supervision were presented at the wrap-up meeting where the Principal Secretary (Rural Development), Secretary (Rural Development), the State Project Director, SPMU officials and the Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF) representative were present.

CEE AP has
taken up a consultancy with World Bank to supervise the
implementation of EMF in RDPIP. The team visited Rajasthan to review
the progress in the implementation of the EMF of the Rajasthan DPIP
and to determine areas where further strengthening is required.|
