Swach Ani Sundar Shala Programme (WASH):
CEE in partnership with and with the support of the Kirloskar Foundation (KF) a charitable trust, is developing a programme to enhance knowledge and to inculcate values of cleanliness and discipline in school-going children. Volunteers drawn from the Kirloskar Group of companies would contribute time and their expertise in achieving and sustaining quality, management and technical aspects of water and sanitation provision. KF and CEE have a strategic partnership for 6 years (including 2008-09) to: 1. Develop, administer and implement a support scheme for improving water, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure and practice in schools 2. Develop and disseminate communication materials, conduct training programme and organize seminars and workshop that support the Scheme and primary objective of improving school water, sanitation and hygiene
