TVE localizing project in collaboration with TVE Japan aims at making outstanding environment programmes more accessible to local audiences and at undertaking versioning as part of project partner's core activities.
CMU continued its TVE Video Resource Centre (VRC) functions and has disseminated various environment and sustainable development related films, spots and documentaries.
CMU Video Resource Centre (VRC) brought out the Hindi version of six films. The films have been produced by Television Trust for the Environment with support from Japan Fund for Global Environment.
The films are The Light and Shadow of Pesticides, duration: 30 minutes and a package of five (5 minute ‘Hands On’ series films Suikinkutsu, Kazusabori Boring, Oyster Forest, Micro Hydropower Plant and Nanohana Project) on innovative projects and practices of interest to all.
The English and Hindi versions were disseminated for initiating discussions in communities, schools and higher education institutes, and in training programmes
