Organized a workshop “Environmentalizing Curricular Transactions” at Port Blair to see how the teaching of environmental concepts in the curriculum can be strengthened. The workshop was held to see how the teaching of environmental concepts present in the curriculum can be strengthened by providing locale-specific data and information and activity ideas to teach textbook lessons in a more experiential way.
School Programme on Conservation of Asian Elephant was implemented in Andaman covering about 25 schools. Under which, one teacher training programme was organized. Trained teachers implemented several activities in schools and a follow up to each school was carried out. This programme was implemented with the help of an NGO namely: Andaman and Nicobar Island trust (ANET)
