I see a gap in education that shares solutions to climate change that can be found in our food systems, specifically regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, silvopasture, reduced food waste, and managed grazing, among others. These strategies will help to decarbonize agriculture, sequester carbon and increase resiliency against floods and droughts, as well as increase production of nutrient dense food.

I see a gap in the area of empowering people to get involved with governmental policy. We created an initiative called "Beyond Doom and Gloom" that connects people to organizations working on regional and national climate policy. Our emphasis is on the transition off of fossil fuels to renewables and efficiency, but this idea could be expanded to all areas of climate policy. See the page for Students (https://www.aashe.org/Climate-Solutions/), the page for Educators (https://www.aashe.org/partners/heasc/initiatives/beyond-doom-and-gloom/), and the page that sets up a Policy Partner to connect to policy organizations and create summaries of action opportunities that are shared with educators, students and the community (https://www.aashe.org/partners/heasc/initiatives/beyond-doom-and-gloom-engage-students/).

If the ESD and ACE communities work together that would be valuable. We also need much more community-based, community-oriented and community-embedded ESD -- cases, good practices, tools & methods

In my view global warming is the key player responsible for climate change all around the world. Coming to India, despite being a member of Global South contributing less global wide pollution comparing to the Global North, we are now facing major problems high temperatures, irregular rains floods, flash floods, rise in sea level, loss of biodiversity etc. First we should start the process from home to clear up this mess. We should list up all the causes across the country and try the best to avoid that are superfluous. And build awareness, rescue, sustainability enriching organizations, groups, camps in the most climate affected areas in the country.
