CEE North East WED programmes

1. PLANTATION AND PHOTO COMPETITION FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS

Partner: Samagra Siksha Abhiyan, Kamrup

Target group: Students of Class 2 to Class 8

The Event: Students will plant sapling in their own campuses in garden/ pots. They will maintain social distance and wear mask while planting. Someone in the family will take a photo of the plantation. They will send the photos to a WhatsApp no. Photos will be judged in two sections -

Section A – Class 2 to Class 5

Section B – Class 6 to Class 8

A panel of judges will select the top three photos in both the sections. Selected top students will be awarded in an event after the Covid 19 lockdown is opened.

Time: Day long. Photo entries will be accepted till 6 June, 2020



2. VIDEO MESSAGES TO ECO-CLUBS

Partner: District Implementing Agency, Eco-club Goalpara network

Target group: Eco-club members, teacher in-charge and Head of Institutions

The Event: Video messages to Eco-clubs will be recorded over Zoom call by the District Implementation and Monitoring Agency of Eco-clubs in Goalpara district and they will circulate the video to all eco-clubs through WhatsApp.

Time: Video recordings will be done on the 4th June and circulated on the 5th June, 2020

Language: Assamese



3. WED DISCUSSION ON DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT ISSUES IN NORTH EAST INDIA

Partner: Royal Global University

Target group: Students of Zoology and Botany from RGU

The Event: An anchored live web discussion with resource persons from CEE and RGU on Development and Environmental Issues in North East India will be organized. Students will ask direct questions to the discussants.

Time: 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm

Language: English and Hindi



3. WED DISCUSSION ON DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT ISSUES IN NORTH EAST INDIA

Partner: Valley High Academy

Target group: Students and teachers of Valley High Academy

The Event: An anchored live web discussion with resource persons from CEE on Development and Environmental Issues in North East India will be organized. Students and teachers will ask direct questions to the discussants.
