Anandshala (a school of Joy) is the programme carried out by CEE in partnership with UNICEF and the Government of Gujarat in the tribal district of Dang, involved working with schools to improve quality of education and enhance physical infrastructure to enable learning. The whole school approach of Anandshala included capacity building of teachers, students and parents to develop the school as a model of sustainability. This model has been implemented in other parts of the country including Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka etc.
